Character Modeling
Creatures for Fujii by Funktronic Labs (2019)
Fujii is a "A serene, mystical journey that traverses a series of otherworldly, organic landscapes."
The gameplay flows between outdoor exploration and creative gardening. As a VR game for the Oculus Quest, Fujii's creatures had to be extremely lowpoly while also feeling distinct and magical.
For these critters, I worked off of concepts by Tetra Van Orden and Cameron Amelia. Similar to how the player receives seeds that they can plant in their garden, the player can find hidden "eggs" of most creatures to bring home with them.

The serpent creature shown at the end is a sort of guide to the player throughout the game, and I utilized a custom spline tool to author its movements around various biomes.

"Animal Kingdom" Hats for AR SuperChess by WellTold Entertainment (2017)
Lowpoly Savannah animal "hats" for customizing the chess pieces within a mobile AR Chess game.
"Bearded Man" and Bar Patrons for Miller Lite's Mobile AR Ads (2019)
Character models & rigs created for Miller Lite's mobile AR Dunk Tank & Bar Interior Ads, shown in Unity-published games on iOS and Android around St. Patrick's Day.
The "Bearded Man" character is from promotional artwork for Miller, so I worked closely off of that key art to create a low-poly version of his face and head. The rest of his body, and the other three bar patron characters, were based off concepts by Dana Plasterer. The client wanted the bar patrons to be faceless, since they are more like set-dressing for the bar, with the Bearded Man as the main focus.
Characters for "CHOP" (2017)
"CHOP" was my senior thesis project in school, a point-and-click game about cooking food for cryptids and other creatures in a forest. Here's a sample of some of the characters I made for this project.
